The 259-acre Leonard Preserve is the largest natural area in the County's system of NAPP preserves. Its diverse landscape includes rolling hills, oak-hickory woods, wetlands, sedge meadows and prairie remnants and nearly one mile of winding River Raisin shoreline. This trip will focus on fall trees and shrubs as well as some of the late goldenrods and asters. Wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. See the attached link for a map and directions.
