Fall Botany at Leonard Preserve

The 259-acre Leonard Preserve is the largest natural area in the County's system of NAPP preserves.   Its diverse landscape includes rolling hills, oak-hickory woods, wetlands, sedge meadows and prairie remnants and nearly one mile of winding River Raisin shoreline.  See the attached link for a map and directions.   This trip will focus on fall trees and shrubs as well as some of the late goldenrods and asters.   Wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather.
