Mud Lake Bog Nature Nature Preserve with Pat Underwood, Parks Naturalist for Berrien County. Has an Environmental Studies & Earth Science degree from WMU.

One of the best examples of a true bog to be found this far south in Michigan. Nearly all the states of bog succession are present and readily accessible. Floating boardwalks wind through the bog along with an observation tower and picnic tables with a shelter.

Be prepared for standing water or mud, depending on weather conditions.
